hello everyone
i have damp in my caravan on my awning side, after taking the front part of awning rail off [it's in three parts]we think it has come through the screw holes on the rail,we plan to take the other parts off clean, then put back on and re-seal.we have stripped off inside where the wood that rail is screwed to is wet but not rotten[it looks like hardwood] . other wooden timbers have rotted.we have stripped off plywood back to polystyrene sometimes pulling little bits of polysyrene off.we plan to dry out, maybe trying a dehumidifier, reboard and paper.i have to do the same in the back!
any advice on all jobs would be appreciated
