We had a phone call yesterday, from the site where our caravan is on a seasonal pitch, to say the awning was down.
We managed to get there before there was much damage, but there are tears in 2 of the panels on the skirting around the bottom. We had to take it down as we couldn't make it secure. Does anyone know of a decent awning repairer in the Merseyside/Lancashire/West Yorkshire area?
We don't mind having to travel as long as we can drop it off on a Saturday.

Just to add my recommendation Lancashire sports Repair in Burnley 01282 439109. Just sent a awning to be reduced by 18 inches £40 . bargain
