Hi, we have just bought a very empty stripped out Sprite Alpine probably late 70's early 80's.
We know she is going to need work and have been avidly researching on the 'Fixed it Club' for advice. We have started rooting around and the first problem we have is that the wood at the door threshold is rotten and crumbing. The wall is coming away from the floor here beside the wheel arch.
My question is when we remove the rotten wood and replace with a new door threshold how do we attach it to the chassis? also how do I re attach the wall to the floor once both of them have their ply replaced?
It is an old type floor, no 'insulation sandwich'.
I could also do with some info on resealing the van. How, where and with what!
Thank you,
Karen
