Hi all

Just bought a 2001 Swift "Jura" (A knowepark special based on a swift Duette i think)

The stereo has stopped working, so I checked for 12v at the stereo plug. No power at the stereo plug & the fuse built in to the stereo is fine also.

before I go back tomorrow to have another look, does anybody with the same year of swift have any idea which fuse holder in the van has the stereo fuse in it?

thanks

I'm just feeling sorry really, having seen the blue grim face on the topic list...

The radio is likely to use a generic cable/loom fitting. In addition to the fuse located on the back of the radio itself, there may well be a pair of additional fuses in the switched and live supplies in the loom itself. I'd check also on the main distribution panel in the panel (where the trips are) as there could be seperate 12v fuses on the board too.

But as a second thought and I know this might sound a daft question, but I ask only because we're all human ... you did have the 12v master switch on did you?

Lol
Thanks for the reply Paul, there's nothing sadder looking than a blue face on a post.
I managed to trace it today, there are 8 blade fuses on the back of the distribution panel, fuse 4 is the radio
Jobs a good 'un
