The Zig X7 charger on my 1997 Bailey Pageant Champagne is dead. Having read several posts on various forums, I've decided to replace it with an Amperor 3-stage 18A charger that I've bought from Amperor themselves. Now comes the fun bit! I thought it would be a straightforward swap, but the wiring on my Zig X7 doesn't match what it says in the Zig manual and the Amperor unit has an extra output terminal not mentioned in their manual :(

The Zig had the battery cables connected to terminals 2 and 3 (although there's probably a splice or two to hook up the control panel to one or both conductors of that), and there was a white cable connected to terminal 4 of the Zig. Terminal 1 was unused, as was the one labelled "auto power". According to the manual, the battery should have been connected to terminals 1 and 4 and the 12S to terminals 2 and 3.

The Amperor unit has positive and negative normal-size output terminals and a smaller terminal labelled "12v".

I'd appreciate a pointer or two as to how to connect up the new charger.

TIA,

Geoff
