Hi all. I have a Bailey Ranger 470/4 1999 model. Going away on Friday and trying to get it ship shape. Fixed everything bar getting the Truma Ultrastore to run on electric. Got it going on gas fine. Near the water heater I have 2 panels.

When I switch on the mains switch nothing happens, no click, no tripping, nothing. There is no led on the switch box to show something is happenning. I assume this is the only switch I need to get it running on electric? Consulted the manual but the switch is totally different in the manual. I have drained the system and left overnight and still nothing. From this mains switch, there is a power cable coming in and a cable coming out into the water heater. I should mention that this mains switch is next to the water heater underneath a seat. I have replaced fuse on switch but not opened it yet.

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Hi.

I have just had the same problem on our newly purchased 440/4 1999.

Ours was the heater element, costs around £60 and took me approx 15 mins to fit.

It is silent in operation, no clicking like when on gas. The thermostat only works on the gas setting not electric. The element is like inside a kettle. Ours was rusty having been left all winter with the tank full of water by the previous owner.

Hope this helps.

Dean.
