Yes Paul i have with no problem. I use the black tube .. At my local caravan dealers shop they only have 2 types gray or black , gray is a much larger pipe than the black .

That said , reading your post i think i might be missing your point 17

Well resealed the awning rail above the door yesterday as that was the place where the most damp was and it was really bad damp in that area . I was shocked to find that on the section just above the door it had been sealed with what i think was " no more nails "

It took me 4 hours to clean the stuff off !! why would anyone use No More Nails on a awning rail

Hi Colin;  How's it going; Did you get it far enough done for the Sept hol?

Been away in 'Duchess' twice now, very comfortable, ( though the list of things to put right keeps growing!!) would be interested in pics of how you did door frame repairs as susspect I'll find have to 'attack' that as well.

Shalom

Trefor

ps. Paul : yes the small diam ridged black waste pipe from most dealers is a push -fit on to the waste outlets

You Transtar guys do not seem to have a problem with damp originating from the roof? I had a Tristar and a damp problem due to the back fairing joint, it went across the van.

Hi Trefor ,,

Sorry not been around much as i have and still am doing our house for christmas, lol.

Yeah got away in the transtar for long weekend and all went well and we had a great time.

what am i like , did not take any pics of the door frame   but it is quite easy to do, You have to remove the wall pannel round the door then remove the door and then door frame them it is easy to remove the rotten wood .. Did mine in a day then covered with plastic sheet over night to dry the fit the door the next day.

We also found our Transtar to be real cosey and warm on a night .

hymerman2 Hi, I have had no leaks or damp from the back fairing joint but i have used some electrical wire channeling to cover the joint and dont look two bad , it was a just in case job LOL. I have some pics somewhere so will post them later.

There was a thread on here a bit back bout that joint on a Transtar leaking , but not sure how he went on with it.
