Hi all

We've just been away for the 1st time in our "new" caravan, & we're 1st time caravanners too!

Our unit is a 1994 Elddis Hurricane XL with end bathroom. The query is this: To get cold water through the shower head, we have to have the vanity sink cold tap running as well! This doesn't seem right to me, anyone else had or got this?

Have you tried turning off the cold water tap at the vanity sink once the water is flowing through the shower head? If it runs okay afterwards it was probably an air lock as the shower head is the highest point in the water system and the air will trap at the highest point once the taps are free flowing.

has the micro switch gone bust on your shower tap? thats if it has a m/switch

Try taking the head of the shower as it might have dirt blocking it..

We have same van and we don't do that but our tap in kitchen did that last year and it was the micro switch in the tap you need to buy new micro switches if you can find the right ones as they are all different we just bought new taps I think about £30 or there abouts easy job too
How long have you had your van ours is a 1991 and its solid no leaks or anything.
