Just a thought, if you normaly use your van on EHU and the gas has not been used for a long time is your gas pilot definitely lit? You should be able to view the flame through a vewing port inside the fridge, if you usually use mains electric which is almost always the first to pack in and have never tested the gas side then it may be that at this moment in time both the electric element and the gas side are failing to provide heat to the fridge "Furnace" box. If your gas is failing to light then it may be a case of a service to the gas burner and a new 230volt element. I have just had exactly that scenario with my fridge, since cleaning he burner and fitting a new element I have recorded temperatures inside the ice box of -38 deg C on electric and and -40 deg C on gas with respect to the outside ambient temperatures, with fridge thermostat settings of 4/5. New element cost me £34.00 delivered and the gas service was mostly a careful cleaning of the flu and burner assembly. The fridge is now the best its been since I have owned the van, you will find all the advice you need on this site if you look back through the postings, the best one to look for is Garry he is a caravan engineer and he is very helpful. I hope this helps Lesoak30
