Just bought an old swift challenger 520/5ta. believe it is a 1990s.
I am mystifyed by the water syatem and the scotch locked ' looks like a right DIY bodge' electrical system.
Any one out there got a manual so I can see how things should be then I can take a look at how it is now and make an intelligent guess as to how I can put it right.
If I cant figure it out I am sure that someone out there can help me with the answers.
First though any one got manuals to sell or can some kind sole provide me with copies via email.
The fresh (cold water tank) is internal to the van - Filled from outside via a cap about midway on the offside. There maybe a 12V socket just below the filler to power up a small pump, or use a hose pipe.
The taps all have microswitches which operates a common internal pump - Any open tap runs the pump this pressurises the hot and cold water system.
There is a carver hot water heater (gas only I think) under the front seats on the offside. This requires a 12V supply for it's control + ingition system.
If you send me a email ( link below ) i'll email you the 1994 sales brochure , it has a bit of info that should be useful , also if you need any appliance manuals let me know what you have fitted and i'll see what i can find .
I have some manuals from our old Abbey, around 1990. Different make but a lot of the equipment was common, just like today. All on pdf if you can get me an email address.
