hi all,we've got a old but clean and dry bailey 5 berth clifton.I was wondering if i could paint the outside white? if so what's the best paint to use ....any help appreciated.

Having never done it myself but taking a stab in the dark I suspect you could use automotive paint from halfords for example.

You could also use a paint called plastidip, seen quite a few people use it on their cars of late with good results and from what I gather much easier than spraying.

Bit out of touch now but,i did many a van/car with coach paint get it from a coach builder it was used to paint buses at some time or a stuff called repaint from a car ex shop.These dry quick and can be put on with a foam roller or just use house hold paint but takes longer to dry again use with a foam roller..

I have just finished painting mine, I used what they call gypsy paint, all the travellers use it to keep their vans looking good.

Gypsy paint consists of 75% Exterior Brilliant White Gloss paint, the runny one and 25% clear outdoor varnish.

Mix the two together and after removing all the trim and vents etc I painted the whole van with it. It comes up great.
