Hi ..have posted this in tents and trailer tents but someone recommended asking you caravan people!
Does anyone have any tried and tested methods of preventing condensation under matresses. We have a roof tent with a 'caravan-wall' type base but I'm sure that anything that works in a caravan (or boat) would benefit us.
hi,read somewhere a long time ago that corrigated (spelling?) cardboard worked under the mattress.i have not tried it but some long time caravanners say it works.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Just posted this same answer on another thread, I used to use those cheapy rush beach mats about a pound each and they work perfectly good, dont need them now I have all slatted base on all beds . hope this is of help.
There is something they call 'aquamat'. This is a type of mat to be positioned underneath the mattres/bed, which transports/guides the damp/water to the outside. I have seen reports from satisfied people.
