i just sold my caravan.the buyer 2 weeks later says the floor is bowing as you walk thru the door maybe 2 feet in.theres no damp and i put knew carpets in to sell it and the floor was totally dry and solid.he says you can see it bow from under the caravan.i cant see how this is possible if the floor isnt damp.has anybody any ideas.my no is 01924835526
It wont be damp, just delaminated. Unfortunately that was up to the buyer to spot before buying, 2 weeks later not your problem. For him ist an easy fix, probably cost about 30 quid....
A good fix for this is to bolt lengths of timber across the chassis under the floor using coach screws through existing holes in the chassis if there are holes in the correct place. Not your problem though, the caravan is perfectly usable as it is.
