Hi - Following a recent blow-out of the nearside caravan tyre, the resulting damage involved a shattered wheel Arch.

This is on a 1988 Abbey County Stafford. The arch itself is only plastic and shattered into a thousand pieces! I have tried sourcing one via the usual outlets but the prices quoted are over £30!! for usually very poor condition seconds.

Can anybody recommend a reliable source? I do not mind spending extra and replacing both sides if neccesary.

Regards - Paul

£30 sounds a good buy for something that is 24 years old. There cannot be many left so it is something of a rarity.

Thanks for the replies & comments.

Michael/Dave - Re your comments concerning the cheapness of the ones I had sourced, I refuse to pay for an item that is cracked, screw-holes forced, badly stained - just because they are available at a ransom price!

Our caravan is in excellent condition for the age and I am considering the purchase of new spats similar to the old. The sites recommended by yourself and others seem to provide an excellent service. I will let you know how I get on.

Cheers, Paul

Good luck finding a 24 year old wheel spat in good condition for under £30.
