on these cold days in the morning we get lots of condensation on walls what advice would you give wipe down with what and can you prevent it on my caravan that is lol cheers
its best just to air the van out and don't put any heat in the van unless its constant, any extremism's in temp will course condensation, my van is on a season pitch all year round so this year instead of putting damp crystals in the van ive made sure the windows are on night lock and left some of the blinds slightly up so when we do get winter sun
it will help air the van out, hope this is a help, ged
condensation cure is all down to ventilation as said.open roof vents and leave windows on the night latch.if its nice and warm inside and very cold outside you will get condensation whatever van you have.our old caravan had a sheet of hardboard fixed between the cushions and the wall with half inch a gap and it never got wet.plus the more people there are in the caravan the worse it will be.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Try getting some of those silica gel pouches - you can buy some that you dry out and re-use and others that you throw away once they are wet.
You can buy an electric one - it comes as a pack of two - you charge them up and the crystals change colour and then you place them in your van and after a couple of days the crystals will change colour - recharge them to dry them out and reuse time and time again - only costs about £20

I keep a lowish heat on in Daisy May . . all the time. Then I can have a cup of coffee in comfort. Never any condensation. And I can do little jobs on `er . . or just read the paper whilst SHE thinks I`m doin` little jobs . .
