Hi everyone and a Happy New Year

This I'm sure will be the the daftest post of the year but here goes: We purchased a Abbey GTS Vouge 216 caravan back in November last year, superb bit of kit, we took it out for a weekend just after we purchased it to make sure everything worked whilst its under guarentee, everything was fine and worked perfect except for one thing.......... The Clock......... it works and keeps good time, but its an hour fast and I can see no way of how to change the time, I have felt the back of the clock nothing, I have felt around the side of the clock nothing, I have searched the internet and trawled through all the caravan manuals that came with the unit and nothing. I can only assume that the clock either pushes out of the panel or the 2 screws that hold the panel in place need to be removed to gain access but I honestly don't know and I would rather ask for help than risk breaking something. So please any owners of an Abbey or simular please advise me. Thank you

Hi Fuseman

As above.  They are usually held in place by a ridged rubber band.  If you can't get access to the back then gently prise the clock out with a blunt knife or something similar.

we have the abbey vogue 516, the clock will just come out of the surround if you ease it gently.

Our clock kept stopping despite changing batteries so when we had the pelmets recovered we just removed it

Ours doesn't have one and we have resisted the urge to have one on display, it's not because we don't like them but when on holiday its so nice to ignore the clock for a change after chasing it all week.

Are they AA size of button types? Most AA sizes last about a year or so on ours in the house. I can't see why they should differ but if they both run out at similar times could if be because the temperature changes are more severe in the van?
