Hi you happy caravanners and campers! I have a
1997 Pop Top Van. From the roof to the van is a vinyl skirt of about 18inches
in height. This skirt attaches to the roof and a steel extrusion which goes
right around the pop top opening .I notice that during heavy rain I have water
seeping through the top and bottom joints. If I don't continually mop up this
water on the inside it has a tendency to run down and seep into the internal
ply walls. To cure this problem I intend to run a bead of sealer internally and
externally right around these joints. Please help! I would
appreciate your thoughts on the problem and any other repair suggestions and a recommended
sealer which will be flexible, skins, keeps its colour and has durability Regards vicw4114 Brisbane Australia
