Can anyone help re the above tap please. I did leave this open and drain the system down but on filling it again found i have a leak.

From what i can see its the hot pipe that has come out of the bottom of the tap, the o ring looks fine but try as i might i cant push the connector back up into the bottom of the tap. A replacement tap is £60 plus the fitting as to get at it and remove it, it looks like the oven has to come out!!

Personally i think its about time that manufacturers addressed this issue, its the second year running i have had to sort an issue like this out, last year the vanity sink tap and both years the system was drained down and taps left open..

Is the tap repairable does anyone know please can i get at it from the top?

Ive heard about ceramic cartridges that can be removed and replaced, however i suspect that as i cant get the hot pipe connector back into the base then its a new tap??
