Hi.
I'm in the process of resealing my caravan. Its a 2006 Sterckeman Starlett. I've looked through many of The Fixed it Clubs projects and these have been of great help and encouragement to me. My quiery is regarding the awning rails on my caravan. My rails are screwed down to the van from the topside rather than along the side. Beneath the aluminium rails is a long rubber seal that goes between the rail and the van.
When I begin to reinstall the rails should I apply the sealant to the caravan then place the rubber seal on top then screw the rail down or is there a better way to do this. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Shay.
