Tried a search but to no avail. Has anybody replaced one of these and if so where did you get the seal from. Have looked at Baileys site but unsure of what I want.

Well went to the van this morning and cut a small section out so I had the profile. Been on seals direct and Bailey and neither has the same profile. I have emailed them pics and asked for their recommendations.

Yep did that but the profile I want isn't shown, and had no reply to email. Sealdirect answered email within minutes, special order from sealsdirect not shown on website. This is the number in case anybody else wants some, CRS30 Thetford type battery/locker seal. Ordered from Sealsdirect, on it's way with adhesive, hope to fit on weekend if it arrives in time.

Eventually Bailey got in touch, their suggestion here bit late as I had already ordered but may be useful to others. Apparently used on most baileys since the year dot.

Well seal and adhesive arrived yesterday, comparing new to old, a big difference. Old one very worn and lost a lot of it's rigidity. Will hopefully fit on Sunday and will report back.

Ok went to van this morning, removed old seal. The seal fits into a small groove that runs around door. It was held in place by silicon, which had been piped into the groove prior to pushing the part of the seal into groove. I measured and cut new seal, super glued join together. Piped in the adhesive/sealant and pushed seal into groove, going around door a few times to ensure it was seated properly. Closing door found the seal very good and had to shove hard to get catches to lock properly. I stayed for about 2 hours and then checked. All OK sealant had gone off but will fully cure in 24 Hours. Hopefully this will sort the water ingress problem. I used S136 adhesive/sealant but I'm sure any cheapo silicone would do.

You can get all the locker seals from any Bailey dealership their are two different types so I would take your old one with you in order to get the right one.Ian
