Hi all.
Me and my Mrs have just started with our first VAN. An Avondale Walbeck Special Edition (basically a Perle Orestes).
Its a cracking little 2 berth, however the cooker vent is a pain in the proverbial. The vent is underneath and has a pair of vent covers facing backwards so when driving the wind is deflected over the hole.
However when pitched up (as we were this weekend) on a pitch at the top of a slope, and the wind blowing at the back of the van. These deflectors channel the wind straight up, under the cooker and straight at the bed.
Does anyone know if there's any baffles/deflectors available? Before anyone shouts, I'm not going to block off the vents, I just want a shield of some sort that can be screwed/glued in place, just behind the vent outlet to stop the wind blowing into it as much.
Either that, or I'm going to have to measure and make my own plastic/wood/metal.
Fanx all.
