i have a 2004 bailey pageant and the fridge heating element has packed up, has anyone removed the same sort of fridge and fitted a new element---------how do i go about it??

You may have to move the fridge to change the element, which will disturb the gas connection. The Thetford fridges are sealed to the cabinet and will require a gas test and room Co check upon refitting. For safety sake you should leave this to a professional that will have the equipment to carry out the required testing.
Sorry to put a downer on the situation, but Carbon Monoxide will KILL.
