Hi guys, this is a silly post but somthing that is driving me mad and any advise would be great. We brought a Abbey GTS Vouge 216 late last year, its perfect except the clock is wrong and I can't for the life of me find out to alter it. I have felt all around the back and the sides and I can't feel any knobs or buttons or even a flap were the battery goes. There ara a couple of screws that hold in the panel to which the clock is mounted, surely I dont have to remove the panel to change the time? Anyone who has a simular caravan  or who knows how to change the time please reply (told you it was a silly post)

Probably a simple prise out with a dining knife ,there could be a couple of tension springs holding it in

Hi.

I don't know about the Abbey but in all the caravans I have owned the clock is merely a push fit into a hole and held in place by a rubber ring.

Gently prise it out with a blunt knife and remove the plastic back. Normal little wheel to change the time is inside ( along with the battery )

I have a push fit clock in my van it's held in with a plastic sleeve. I just hold the frame around the clock and push from behind. :)

ours is just a push in type as most are.just pulls out and it has a rubber fitting round the clock and this holds it in place.

Hi guys solved the mystery. I felt around the back of the clock again and discovered a hole in the housing into which you can poke your finger and push the clock out. Only downside was I found this out on Saturday 30th March, if I had waited a few more hours until the clocks went forward again it would have corrected itself (ha ha).
