Hi I have a water leak coming in two of my side window collecting on the aluminium window sill/frame then runs down inside my van not a good thing. After further investigation I found the water was sneaking behind the rubber seals at the top corners then running down between the frame and the back of the rubber seal (where the seal pushes into the aluminium frame) then the water collects and seaps out from the seal onto the sill/frame at the bottom. My cure was to cut the rubber at the joint then push the rubber firmly into the frame all the way round which left me with a 2" gap at the joint, so the problem is the rubber is too short for the frame and not water tight. I have been to the swift agent but not much help there, they have not had or herd of this problem, has anybody else had this problem? they cannot supply me with a new rubber seal either, can anybody help me with a part number for a new seal or point me in the right direction? The van is a 2008 Sterling Elite Searcher twin axle fixed bed. cheers Wullie.
