has anyone had the seats and cushions re covered for there van was it worth it and was it expensive thinking of giving our old van a make over but will be a tight budget it is a old van and dont want to throw too much cash at it
what do you all think worth it or waste of money
We had our other swift caravan done back in 2010, it was completely re upholstered including seats, pelmets, cushions, curtains and carpets done, it was like a new van when it was finished it cost us about 1000 pounds in total, you can see the pics still on my profile pics as i haven't changed them yet, it was red and cream originaly.

Thanks, it was nice but we no longer have that van needless to say the first person who saw it bought it....i would do it again if i were to get a van at the right money, and even though we did it,we didn't loose money when we sold it.

We did ours our selves using the old ones as patterns it took us about a week to the seating, pelmets, curtains and scatter cushions but saved us a fortune and looks fab.
Jeff, we are neither loaded or crazy, like my earlier post states we didn't loose any money when we sold it, it fetched good money which it wouldn't of with the original out of date colour scheme, it depends on what your used to, we like nice things besides you got to move with times me old chap.
