The heater is all working but water was leaking inside the van under the main body of the water tank, I've taken the heater out and there are no obvious signs of where the leak is coming from, because I have the whole thing on my work bench I'm thinking of replacing the large O ring seal, is it a straight forward job?

Just repaired mine, and found out it was the red outlet hose that wasn't tightened.

I did all the seals on my carver 2 last year its a simple enough job you have couple of things to watch out for the centre tie rod can be a bit brittle and tight so watch how much pressure you use when tightening, when putting I the new big o ring a bit of washing up liquid to make things slide together easier. other than that its a pretty straight forward job.
You will get a seal kit on ebay no problem.

I contacted Gary He sent an over view of generally how the Cascade 2 works and where to download a manual, I sent for one from ebay only 1.85, I stripped the heater down and still no obvious signs of where the leak was coming from but I did notice another fault "the gas burner had rusted through" so I took it to my local "Dods Caravan Centre, Pengam," and to cut a long story short ended up replacing the whole heater, it's now all working fine, thanks guys
