The maximum pressure stated on any size tyre is just that, generally it's the pressure to suit the tyres maximum stated load, not always though, reinforced type tyres often state a higher pressure than the correct pressure for the maximum stated load.
However 185R14C Li102 are commercial type tyres and maximum load/pressure are equal to each other, any less load then requires a corresponding drop in pressure from the maximum of 65psi.
However again, the 'calculation' as often suggest does not give an accurate pressure, only an approximation. It is though always higher than the correct pressure so safe as far as tyres won't be under inflated.
As far as caravan manufactures always giving correct pressures, the only correct pressure is to suit the load carried. If then as in this case, the load is 20% less, and Lunar is stating 65psi, their WRONG!!
UNLESS that is, the the van is so badly designed, the load on one side is so greatly heavier than the other side, the heavy sides tyres is fully loaded?, in which case the lighter loaded tyre would be massively over inflated?
I hope not though as I certainly would not like to be towing such a van!!!!
So an accurate load/pressure chart HEREand you can judge who's right and who's wrong?!

I'm now at a bit of a loss myself?
I don't know about anything else, I go by the chart I provided, that being Tyresafes original chart taken from it's booklet I've been using for 15 years without issue
I do know you seem to be misinterpreting the 10%?, it is to offset the rigors of use, or indeed lack of use fitted to a caravan, nothing more nothing less should be read into it.
I can also be taken that tyres fitted to the car are never fully loaded so why would caravan manufacturers, as was until recently universally the case?!
Another thing about car manufactures, they test tyres and tune suspension to suit the tyres they choose to use. They can also fine tune the 'generic chart pressures' to exactly suit, all economically impossible for caravan manufacturers.
Regards your tyres then, 185R14C has a load index of 102 thats a maximum load of 1700kg per pair.
So from the chart, the required pressure for 1440kg is 54psi, there should be no doubt about that!
