Hi all.
Has anyone changed or know how to change the fixed window in the door as mine is broken and have got another one to replace it, is it like replacing a car screen from the 70's ie:- using washing up liquid and some string.
All information welcome and thanks in advanced.

Its exactly like the old car windscreens. When I changed one it took me all morning (and that was with the door off the van) not an easy job (very stiff rubbers)

Thanks Fleetwood99 I was hoping it was not going to be that way, I remember doing an old mini windscreen and that took two of use all afternoon.
well looks like some brute gentle force and a few choice words and loads of washing-up liquid.

Replaced the window in the door was not that hard to do, took about 2 hours.
The hardest part was getting the silicon off the window and rubber, as fleetwood99 advised I also used a couple of bicycle tyre lever's and started at the bottom right and worked across to the bottom left, once the bottom was free it was just a case of sliding the window down and out.
To put the new window in, reverse the removal and it went in easy with a little help from silicon spray, used a sealer like silkaflex on the out side and put the rubber insert back in.
Nice clear and clean window not one with an inch of brown water and lots of flies swimming around
