Hi bought a caravan never checked it properly rookie mistake I know trying to get money back but private sale and they don't want too, caravan is damp a lot on front and floor caravan specialists said will cost 1500 at least.
was wondering if anyone knows anyone in Leicester who can help me and earn some money to fix it.
Were in Countesthorpe. I have no time to help unfortunately, as currently trying to fix the front and back damp in our van. If you want to see first hand what you'll have to face when the wallboards come off, you're welcome to come and have a look.
I know half of my problem was the trepidation at starting the job! We were quoted close to £3000 to repair our van by a dealer. I estimate it will cost me less than £150 but take up lots of hours.

Hi Mark
Have you found any stockists of wallboard in Leicester?
Thanks
Andy
No, not aware of any in Leicester. I sent Magnum Motorhomes a sample and they tried to match. Unfortunately our board is discontinued but they're kindly sending me samples back of a close match before I order.
Nothing will 'screw' into 3mm ply and hold, if you want to use screws, what is done is to lay strips of say 3"x1.5" thin metal under the wallboard to screw into using self tappers.
I've also seen some big headed pop-rivets that are used to do this job, ask a local caravan repair shop about these.
As for the cover strips, has Ken not got some to match the board you chose? or try his mate O'leary motorhomes
