Hi Folks,

I want to be able to use my isolation valves and need a key. In the bailey hand book it says a key is required but I can't seem to source one anywhere.

The valves look like this :



Any ideas short of replacing the valves?

i have one like that only a water valve not only can i turn it with a screwdriver but as you say it is also the position indicator as well.its on my heater boiler for pressuring.

Get rid and buy some valves that the knobs are connected - i can guarantee the key will not be around when you need to turn off in an emergency!!

Ordered 3 x 8mm valve this morning. £7.50 delivered. Why Bailey chose to use keyed ones makes no sense to me!

Just read your post re gas isolation key, did the 8mm fittings work

They haven't used key types for years.All the Bailey vans we have had over many years have valves with a red knob on.
