Why not ask the dealer to transfer it to your new van?
Ours is in at the moment for trading in; we are waiting a call to advise us that the mover swap, PDI, service and odd jobs have been carried out on the new(er) one. Not all dealers will swap them FOC (when we traded the Elddis for the Coronette, the dealer wanted £250 for the swap - as I had originally fitted it myself, I said no ta, I'll do it mesen) However, this one is FOC as they have deals on at present for half-price movers on all units above £4k. Presumably they can swallow the labour cost and save a bit on their mark-up. Job's gonna be a good 'un.
As Simon says, easy to do. I managed the original fitting to the Whirlwind in approx 3.5 hours taking it easy. Removal was about one and a half, and refitting to the Coronette a couple of hours. I did all that single handed with the aid of my Halfords car jack.

Yes take it off as they are very expensive. You will need for your new one,As said just undo wires not cut.dont forget the control box.ans remote.three hours and it off.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Powrtouch will upgrade a single axle mover to a twin. You reuse the existing mover, get another one for the other axle and a new control box. Not sure if they will exchange the control box or if you end up with a redundant one but its cheaper than getting a complete new mover.
The only difference between a single axle and a twin axle motor mover is in the control system. A twin axle mover will not allow you to put one wheel in forward and the other in reverse to spin the caravan in its own length. (there would be too much tyre scrub).
Fit the singla axle mover to your new van and just press one button at once, Simples and much cheapness
In response to Andy's post. There is one other main difference between single & twin axle turning. On a single axle unit, the inner wheel is stationary whilst the outer wheel is driven however on a twin axle, the outer wheel is driven but the inner wheel is pulsed to pevent tyre scrub. Hence it is not recommended to use a single axle controller on a twin axle van.
