It's a bit of a long shot, but I'll ask anyway. I've got elderly but well-maintained Freedom Jetstream 200, which has developed a slightly mysterious problem with the running lights. The right-hand front running light isn't working, nor is the left rear indicator or the break lights on either side, but everything else seems fine. I've been through the usual suspects, such as changing bulbs, which made no difference, and taking a quick peak at the electric plug that attaches to the tow car which seems OK to my uneducated eye. All the lights on the car are working, and I've used a piece of fine sandpaper to gently clean the bulb sockets, just in case. Now stumped!
Have you dismantled plug that plugs into car? You may find it corroded inside. Replace with new plug, only a couple of quid, otherwise problem could be with car socket.
The wiring from the caravan socket to the caravan lights on our Freedom Microlite passes through the interior cupboards. Not sure if mine is typical (it's a 1996 model) but the routing means that the cables/wires can fairly easily be pulled or damaged by the contents of the cabinets moving about etc. I have had to do one repair myself (I think it was a brake light not working. I would check the cable/wiring runs. It's not a huge task. Hope this helps

Thanks Dinkum, I think you're right about the wiring passing through the cupboards, so I'll check that. Two of the internal lights also stopped working at the same time, so there's definitely something going on.
