How do I remove the covers from my new 'van?

My last caravan's vents had a small plastic screw at the left. Half a turn with a 5p coin and of they came!

The new van -2013  venus 500/4- has different covers - no plastic screw.

Haven't had a chance to try it yet. I keep my caravan in a storage compound about ten miles away so I don't get too many opportunities for working on it. Being a brand new 'van I haven't even been out in it yet!. This will be remedied this coming weekend when we will be roughing it at the Camping Club site at Polstead just fifteen miles up the road. - a sort of shake down trip prior to going to Brittany in July.If we've forgotten anything it ain't too far to nip home for it!

I had a 'fridge fan behind the vent in my old 'van but, having looked at the long range weather forecasts, I suspect I won't need it!

Anyway thanks for the tip. I'll let you knowhow I get on.

Just back from our shake-down trip.

No black sliders to be found, however the old turnscrew has been replaced by a vertical sliding clip - not obvious at first glance and extremely stiff. After sliding the clip ,it's the same as the old set up - pull the left hand end  out until the right hand comes free. No mastic seal to worry about as you're only taking the grille out not the grille surround.
