HI , hope someone can help or point me towards it.....  I have a problem with my Leisure Battery - when in use ( whilst I never use without EHU) it seems to drop in voltage.

I have recharged it on an out of van charger when it was reading 12.6 V , but when I put it back into the van (even thoughthe van is parked outside of my house with EHU to the van) it seems to drop to 10.6 over 3 or 4 days .

The charger in the van is putting 13.6V through the battery when first attached, which is the same reading at the terminals when the battery is out .

I am not that very technicaly mided, but would have throught that if my uin van charger is showing a reading of 13.6V at the terminals and the battery is showing 12.6V when first attached, then it should not drop -- there is no load on the battery i.e lights etc are not switched on .. please help as I replaced the battery at the start of last season and do not want to do this again ...... thanks

12.6 volts is only about a three quarter charged battery as the minimum volts required is 12.7 volts or above. A new fully charged leisure battery will show readings of around 13.5 volts so it sounds like the battery you have is defective and needs replacing. The link below may help regarding battery basics.
