Bit of a vague question, but I have a maintenance free Elecsol and am well pleased. You do not say what you want to run off it? Motor mover? Mine is a 100AH and runs our mover no problem

Buy one which will fit in the space allowed for it. They are all different sizes, so you need to check how much length width and height you have. I find an 85amp battery does the job (I can't get a bigger one into the battery space anyway!).
And don't be tempted to buy a cheap car battery, buy a proper leisure battery, looked after and charged regularly, it will last longer.
Just had a lightbulb moment! It might, if you don't have a l. battery connected into the system, be the reason your fridge doesn't work on electric. Sometimes the leisure battery completes the circuit on 230v and the electricity runs through the battery... so that could answer your fridge question as well!

sorry that's my girly talk! I'll rephrase that: A number of older caravans need the battery connected in order for the 12v/230v circuit to work. My sister had an older caravan with a flat battery and the EHU and 12v worked for years through a separate l. battery charger all connected up and plugged in when on EHU. It wouldn't work without a battery at all, even a flat one.

Have a word with Tayna Batteries and discuss your needs. Best value battery supplier I know and the people on the phone know what they are talking about.
