My carvan works fine on the 240v, however when only connected to the in caravan battery all the 12v works but the fridge doesn't.

When I than connect it to the car for towing, the fridge and the rest of the 12v alternatively switch on and off - as in - the fridge switches on the rest are off then the rest are on the fridge switches off, you can here the relay clicking switching between the two states. I have replaced the relay to no avail does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be.

The fridge is only supposed to work on 12V when hooked up to the car and with the engine running. It draws so much power it would flatten the 'van battery in no time. If you have no 240V hookup use fridge on gas!

Well mine is switching ever 2 seconds , and when the fridge is on no on the other 12 v electrics work such as the lights, then when the fridge switches of the lights come one as said this alternates ever 2 seconds so that cannot be normal and has never done it before

that said you may have pointed me in the direction of the problem as the mentioned relays may be faulty
