Hi All,
Our current caravan is due a service in March, if I use a registered mobile engineer would this be okay as far as warranty is concerned or is it back to a Swift dealer.

It has to be a Swift approved mobile engineer I believe, look them up for your area. Which reminds me, I am looking for the same and have not received a rely to my query of a few days ago.

I thought it was now illegal to insist on specific repairers in order to comply with a warranty, or is that just motor cars?

Hi, we had a similar question when we bought our Elddis two years ago. Not being happy to simply rely on what the dealer said, I called Elddis's technical dept. directly and they confirmed it was fine to use anyone who is part of the Approved Workshop scheme which is sponsored by the two big Caravanning clubs. I would recommend you contact Swift and check with them. We have used a mobile mechanic who is part of the scheme ever since, which saves the hassle of having to tow the van there and back.
