I have a 1999 abbey vogue, I need to replace the whale mixer tap in the kitchen. I have noticed when looking on eBay some say only to be used with pressurised systems. Howcdo I know if he system is pressurised or micro switches?

If you remove your tap there will be two wires on it which will be connected up, the tap has a micro switch.If no wires then this is a pressurized system.

I bought a new tap last year which has two wires for a micro switch,seeing my taps are pressurized it works just the same as there is nothing to connect the wires to.

Have a look under the sink and look for some wires heading up towards the tap normally near the water supply pipes.

Wires - Switched pump, No wires - pressurised system
