Hiya what is the best glue for fastening a metal bracket to a glass door have tried superglue but doe's not seem to hold for long thinking about trying araldite any idea's would be greatly appreciated
If you are going to use Araldite, don't use the rapid. The standard setting stuff. It is far stronger. Okay, it will take possibly 24 hours to cure completely, depending on the temperature.
As well is two words!

------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Years ago when I had a Renault 5 the rear windows were hinge opening with metal hinges glued to the glass. When one came away, Renault had a specific glue for the job. Had to be applied when there was sunlight for the glue to go off. Don't know if they still do it though.
