Hello, the plastic handle from my 2013 Elddis has broken and I need to remove the inside door lock to get the whole thing replaced. I think its a different lock rather than a traditional Hartal - I've removed the coverplate and taken off the two visible screws - but the lock still seems to be attached to the door on the left hand side.

Any ideas on how to remove it? Thanks, Scott

Thanks Jeff, but I don't need to remove the barrel, just the back of lock.

I can only find two screws that I have removed - but no others.

I can see 3 types of locks that Elddis has fitted,if you knew which one..as i dont know with no picture.try googling the year make and model of the door lock as i did and look at the IMAGES of them,you will see an exploding view of them which might help you see how its put together.

Hi. I'm not sure what lock you have but if there are small round red and green indicators you need to carefully prise these out to get to the screws underneath.

Well done!
At one stage I left mine out because I was forever adjusting the wretched thing. Sometimes the bolt wouldn't spring into the locked position so I had to keep filing the plastic down to allow it to move freely.
