do any of you clever people know how to repair a ice box cover on the caravan fridge, it will not stay in the closed position?

You can buy replacement hinges. Mine had the same problem. Think when I looked they were about £27.

As my van is old and I didn't want to spend that and I wanted to keep my 4 year old out of the frozen lolly stash I fitted a little lock, same as you have on a bathroom door to the cover. Cost 99p and prevent her opening the door.
