Hi, We took the 'van away for the first time in ages. I checked before we left: all water, gas and electric systems: all fine. Once we get on site, the (fixed) regulator packed in immediately. Bypassed with normal regulator and a length of hose.(I had leak checker with me!) But the Truma Rapid Storage water heater failed on all fronts. Immediately and repeatedly took out the site 16A supply. Isolated the heating element and tried it on gas: and nothing!! Any suggestions welcomes: totallt dead on gas and drawing in excess of 16A on electric...any thoughts please? Thanks, Iain

Hi, I got the gas side working last night, maybe it was a loose plug on the control board, but after removing the circuit board, and giving a good talking to, the ignitor began to work and, after a big bang (!) the burner kicked in and works perfectly. So whether I have a failed mains heating element (but nothing tripped inside the 'van) or the Caravan Club bollard trips prematurely. (It was a new style of bollard) I'll find out tonite. Thanks, Iain
