Hi i'm about to get a tablet ( or possible smartphone )
I think i'd like the larger 7" screen ( thats the max for portability )
I have an ancient non smart mobile(pay as u go )which is ok as non existent mobile signal at home

I don't game

prefer facebook to texts

don't talk on phone more than i can help

I want internet for data that is available as much as possible when travelling

I want to spend a modest although value for money amount

does anyone have any thoughts on this for a baffled technophobe

oh and added to the previous post

i have very poor broadband at home ( eg iplayer wont run )

i suspect that means i could do with another means of inputting ...music ,photos ,to the device i suspect that clouds are to remain for me as something that blocks the sun and brings rain
