Once again toilet problems

When i take out the cassette to empty a pool of urine is always under where the fuse islocated

it has now corroded the fuse and the pump has stopped working

From advise from the dealership i have bypassed the fuse but still not running

I assume that the lip seal may need replacing but i cant understand why the flushing

liquid is never in the cassette bay just urine.

I have had problems with this toilet from day one and had to change the flushing

switch about a month ago which was supplied f o c but i am now back to square 1

Has anybody any ideas

Regards Bill

I don't think it's urine actually, it sounds more like the rubber seal on the service door needs replacing as it's letting in rain water, and yes it does look like urine. I had the same problem with our caravan when we first bought it but to detect to see if it is the cause of the problem, dry the compartment thoroughly with a cloth or kitchen paper then close the service door. Get a watering can full of water and pour it around the perimeter of the closed door and then have a look to see if there is a pool of water inside. If there is then you will need a replacement seal but the service door will have a corresponding number ie. 1,2 or 3 (different size service doors) to which you will need the appropriate seal which I think is a service door 2 but you can find out here.

I had a problem with the seal on my access door which was following heavy rain. Test it as suggested above. I removed my seal which was fitted with adhesive, removed all the adhesive and cleaned it up. I then refitted it making sure the joint of the seal was at the bottom of the door and it hasn't leaked since - worth trying before you by a new seal.
