Hi all. Please help! I have an adria toura 4 berth 1980. One of the tyres on my adria went the other day so I jacked it up to change the wheel. I then noticed something hanging down not far from the ground from the chassis. It's a shock absorber and the part that's supposed to be attached to the axle or wheel has rusted away. I checked the other side and the same has happened. The chassis itself looks like it's in good condition but the running gear (if that's what you call the axle and where you attach the wheel) is pretty rusty.
1.Do I need to look into replacing the axle?
2.Can I just remove the rest of the shock absorbers or do I need new ones? Its a very lightweight adria 1980 4 berth. Any advice on changing them would be great or about someone good on the Wrexham area to repair it . Thanks, ceri.
