Hi, have been trying to solve why my Pump will not switch off only by using the 12volt master switch, it pumps water ok, but suddenly has developed this fault, have looked on various sites for answers and some refer to a pressuure switch ?? not certain where this is, anyone have ideas. You may have a leak where the pump plugs into the van
or,an air lock in the pump, give it a good shake in the
barrel, let us know how you get on ps.check the drain plug as well leaks.
Hi, have a look under sink/washroom taps to see if any wiring is going up to taps if so the taps have micro switches in which case it will be one of these faulty. if not follow water hose as it comes into c/van a pressure switch should be before the split off to water heater.
Hi all, at last have had time to look at Pump and deciding to take it apart found a lot of plastic dust all around the internal Micro switch which controls the water pressure on and off, so cleaned it all out, reassembled and to date its working ok. The weekend will tell as we will be using it a lot on a CL site in Norfolk, fingers crossed, many thanks to all advisors, cheers.
If the CL is not ehu you may need to re adjust the switch when the van battery starts to die as the pump won't create the same pressure to trigger the switch due to the lower voltage
