Hi, I have a 1987 Sprite Alpine Xl 4berth, I'm trying to tidy up the outside of it and make sure it's watertight. I am looking for the rubber/pvc trim that covers the outside of the top awning rail where you slide the awning in (not sure what the proper tech term is) Any ideas and many thanks in advance.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for reply, but can't see any to suit, all I can see is the small 12mm coloured infill cover stripes as I would call them. Think this trim is old style, fits above where you slide your awning in, seals outer awning rail piece to caravan. Wish I could upload pic!

Look at the Leisureshop Direct site. I think Jeff posted a link to it a couple of days ago.

I've been looking for this same stuff for ages.

The rails got to come of to replace it though. I'ts not one piece but two strips on each side of the rail edge.

just had a check back on posts. It was:

'Help! Lots of Q's Awning Rail Reseal'

It's on Repairs Forum, started by LawrenceR on 28/5/14

It's back just one page, and got some pics on there as well.

.........
Andy
