Yes we were running off Propane, we bought it last week, & swapped over from the blue bottle, so we use the calor for the Cadac, & don't have to keep changing over.

Do I know a mobile guy in Nottingham...yeah ME!! when I feel like a run out. I could do with knowing the make and model though??

A Carver SL3002 is really a Truma SL3002...just a little badge engineered?. I would guess either the earth spring by the gas valve is not touching the fire front or the earth lead from the piezo to the fire front is disconnected and this is what is stopping the spark at the burner. If you have the front off to get a better look you must let the bottom of the fire front touch the fire base to get a connection or it won't work and you often get the belt from the spark. The oven sounds like a blocked jet or gas valve problem, I know it was cold over the weekend but not enough to stop Butane working
