Hi, make sure you are not confusing the hub nuts ,and wheel nuts, the hub nut is the large nut in the centre of the hub and should only be used once and does have require a high torque setting beyond the scope of a diy torque wrench. Wheel nuts are the 4 nuts retaining the wheel and on my caravan require setting at 65 foot pounds. hope this helps
There are various hub nuts available Alko or BPW chassis and which nut you have for your particular wheel size, most are 290 Nm though. Have a look at this link, it shows various hub nuts and should make it clearer.
