Had an indicator bulb blow on my ace jubilee, easy job to replace but to my horror the whole light cluster is held on with 4 screws which screw into rubber plugs which seem to have no grip what so ever, thought these must expand when the screws are inserted, no they did not, fixed the indicator but now the rear light cluster would never make a journey, Im thinking the way to go would be to glue the rubber plugs in place, or replace them and glue new one's in, sort of lost faith in the whole set up, any one else had this bother ?
Hi, visit a motor spares shop you should be able to get the U clips that slide over the hole to give a hole to take a self tapping screw, you can also get a square shaped clip that pushes in from the outside but would need gluing in unless you could make hole square, this also takes a self tapper.
